over the past four weeks. She hails from a middle class family background. She lives with her father and a grandmother following the devastating divorce between her father and the mother. The latter is not actively involved in the life of the teenager since she is married into a different family. Her father has no formal education and therefore works in a stressful job. Her sister who is pursuing a degree resides in the college hostels and therefore is not within the reach of the teenage.

A parenting care plan to address the depression will be developed to solve the teenager’s mood issues. I will also discuss home care plans that can resolve the depression and mood disorder. Nonetheless, behavioral therapy will be developed to offer remedy to suicidal ideation expressed by the teenager.
