Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is crucial to nurses’ lifetime learning. It is vital for keeping nurses’ knowledge and abilities current. It can support their development of a positive outlook and of information about how to use EBP in clinical practice. The organization must develop educational initiatives to advance EBP and adopt strategies for resolving implementation difficulties. Nurses should increase their understanding of and attitude toward EBP because it intensifies their efforts to guarantee that nurses and other healthcare workers successfully provide evidence-based care, a significant and vital nursing topic to use to give better care. Authorities must provide a suitable work environment or a chance for hospital employees to further their education (Mlambo et al.,2021). Besides, many studies have shown that patients who receive evidence-based care from healthcare professionals experience improved quality, safety, and patient outcomes and lower costs. Many benefits of EBP has also increased the cost of implementing evidence-based care. Unfortunately, other healthcare facilities due to financial complications have been unable to implement EBP (Hsiao-Ying et al., 2019). Shortage of healthcare workers has also been blamed for interfering with EBP. Healthcare providers have introduced training programs to boast workforce competence.
